p.tx is a Brussels-based artist-researcher who likes to dig where theory and practice collide. Photographer and editor for "La Vague Parallèle", he's interested in the way rap, hip-hop and electronic music activate magical-political forces - that moment when a beat, can do more than move your head. "Meeting Electronics Halfway" is a field of exploration: a podcast situated, made to listen to the worlds that electronic music makes possible. The podcast is based on the premise that nothing comes alone: cables, machines, affects, people, places - everything fits together. Once every two months, Gimic Radio and electronics become a pretext for engaging in encounters around different themes that circulate, drift, bug and gravitate in the presence of “electronic” music.
